Saturday 11th Saturday AM; Genghy was on the puff this morning having a wash while Cleo emerged from behind the sofa.  We had a morning stroke-a-thon and that sent Genghy into a purring mess of fur, rolling on his side.  The cats enjoyed the last bit of their wet food this morning, munching down on their brekki while I cleaned out their litter tray.  We had a quick play of 'catch the mouse' then I said goodbye until later.

PM; Genghy was up and about and he and Cleo were very playful this evening.  Genghy raced after Cleo as she raced after the dangly mouse that I dragged quickly along the floor.  I then topped up their dried food once I wiped over their tray, topped up their water and then cleaned out their litter and swept up.  I placed the bin liner into the black bin outside and then said my final goodbyes to the cats, telling them that their mum and dad would be home soon.

Friday 10th September AM; Genghy was fully stretched out with his legs on the sofa and purred as soon as chatted and stroked him. Cleo then jumped up and joined us, as she continues to get a little more confident with me.  She let me give her a quick stroke and then came to watch me sort out their litter tray.  Both cats tucked into their breakfast once I topped up their dried food and checked their water.  I collect the mice that were scattered and placed these in various positions around the scratching post which cause a great interest from Cleo who I left playing around with them all, in her attempt to knock them off the top of the post.

PM; Genghy and Cleo came around me this evening and enjoyed a fuss while I sat on the stairs with them.  Cleo likes to sit on her back legs taking swipes while Genghy goes into a 'crouching tiger' like position.  I gave Genghy a brush which he tolerated for just a little while before emitting a little whine.  So, I gave him and Cleo some wet food as a treat on top of their dried and topped up their water and swept around their litter.

Thursday 9th September AM; Genghy's tuff of matted fur seems to be bothering him, so having spoken to Wan, I cut some of it down to is wasn't pulling so much on his skin.  Genghy was a good boy and sat still, then afterwards we had a cuddle and he purred.  I gave him and Cleo a little of their wet food and they tucked in straight away.  I cleaned out the litter, swept up and popped the litter outside in the bin.  I had a little play with Cleo while Genghy watched like the good older brother.

pm; Justin and I had come straight from London to see the little ones and care for them this evening.  Justin fussed around Genghy and Cleo sniffed his hand to check him out while I sorted out dinner and their litter.  We had a play on the step with Cleo batting around the dangly mouse, while Genghy rolled on his side looking for tummy rubs - and we were welcome to assist with his request!

Wednesday 8th September AM; Genghy was sleeping on the sofa when I arrived and enjoyed a stroke and a cuddle and purred away. Cleo was playful so I sat on the step and played with the mouse with them both. Genghy batted it around and Cleo would jump and catch it in her mouth and try to run off with it! Genghy was very hungry this morning and tucked into his biscuits and I topped up the water fountain abit with fresh water to keep it running properly. I then said Goodbye to them both for today.

PM; The cats were on the sofa when I arrived and enjoyed a stroke.  Cleo chirped a few times and they were both very happy to have some Whiskas with their dried food.  I checked the water and the tray and swept the bits of litter that had scattered close by.  I then sat on the step and Cleo scratched at the post, then we had a little game of play while Genghy watched and enjoyed some strokes.

Tuesday 7th September AM; Genghy was very happy to see me this morning and he enjoyed his strokes.  Cleo had a little quick play with her mouse, then they both pottered over for their breakfast.  I sorted out their tray and then after some strokes left Genghy and Cleo to enjoy their fun packed day!

PM; Cleo was behind the sofa and this evening she was much braver with me as I went to check the water - she let me give her some long strokes along her back.  Genghy then joined us and he looked out of the window while I stroked him and Cleo had a little drink.  I scooped out the poop from the tray and swept around the tray before topping up the cats food, giving them a little wet on top as a treat and placing the remainder in the fridge for their next feed.  The cats stuck in.  Afterwards we had a little game of 'Catch the Mouse' which saw Genghy positioning himself under the glass table watching Cleo do all the running around - she was very good and caught the dangly mouse every time.  I said goodbye for this evening.  Louise will be caring for the little ones tomorrow.

Monday 6th September AM; Cleo was sat by the side of the sofa and she had managed to pull a purple Beret onto the floor (yesterday it was a yellow football shirt).  I popped this onto the box in the lounge, then having stroked Genghy, I topped up their food and water fountain, cleaned out their tray and swept up.  I then sat down with them as Genghy enjoyed some mouthfuls of dried food and then Cleo and I had a jolly good play with the mice toys and she batted at it on her back legs, while Genghy had a stab at playing, however, preferred to have long strokes instead.  I stayed with the cats about 20mins this morning, then finally said goodbye. Louise will be with the little ones later.

PM; Genghy was sleeping on the sofa so I sat down and gave him a good stroke. He really enjoyed the fuss and Cleo was running around the lounge. I tried to coax Cleo over but she wasn't having any of it until she saw a mouse could be involved and batted it around! I checked their food and cleaned out their tray and took the rubbish out before I left.

Sunday 5th September AM; Genghy was enjoying a Sunday lay-in when I arrived.  Cleo pottered around watching me empty the tray then sweep up around the tray, then top up the water and food.  Genghy decided to get up and stretched then enjoyed a brush - rolling over to have a tummy rub!  I chatted away to the little ones, Cleo then decided to hide behind the sofa, so I left the cats in peace to enjoy brekki.

PM; Genghy was all tucked up into a snuggly ball on the sofa while Cleo tiptoed around me.  I sat and gave Genghy a long stroke-a-thon, and Cleo was very brave and let me stroke her after I popped their food down.  The tray was clean and water fine, so I sat on the step by the food and just spend a little time with the pussy cats before finally saying goodbye for today.

Saturday 4th September AM; Genghy and Cleo were joined by Justin today, and he was delighted to see his pal Genghy.  He gave his furry friend lots of fuss while Cleo and I enjoyed a good game of catch the mouse.  Cleo and Gneghy then had a scratch on their post and they then watched me clean the tray and sweep up. I topped up their food and then sat on the step stroking the cats as Cleo then ate.

pm; Genghy was sat on the window sill looking out.  When I walked into the lounge, he purred and weaved around me.  I sat down and stayed with the cats for awhile.  Genghy jumped onto the puff and enjoyed a long stroking session, while Cleo sniffed my foot and leg - I must have smelt interesting as I had been sorting out chickens and a few cats before seeing them!  Cleo enjoyed a game of tapping the toys and stood on her back legs, swiping at them. Genghy and Cleo walked to their bowls and then enjoyed some wet food as a treat on top of their dried food.

Friday 3rd September AM; Cleo met me in the lounge and I chatted away to her.  I sorted out their breakfast and checked their water and swept around the litter, while Cleo watched on.  Feeling braver, Cleo let me smooth her and then Genghy pottered down the stairs.  Genghy weaved around me and then enjoyed a long fuss while Cleo decided to attack the bottom stairs with some gusto.  I called to her and she scratched then onto the post - so I told her she was a good girl.  I left the cats heading over for their brekki.

PM; Genghy was on the puff when I arrived and Cleo pottered around the back of the sofa.  As I sorted out their tray, Cleo ran over and watched me then looked out of the window out back.  Genghy enjoyed a groom and I checked their water and then topped up their dried food.  I left Cleo munching down.

Thursday 2nd September AM; Cleo was down stairs and met me at the door. I spotted her mouse so we had a game which she really enjoyed! I then when upstairs and found Genghy who was looking very sleepy. I gave him a long stoke and then he came downstairs. I got the mouse out for Genghy and he batted it around. After a while I topped up their food for breakfast and cleaned out their litter tray. I gave them a stroke goodbye and then left.

PM; The little ones were very affectionate this evening.  I sat on the sofa and Genghy climbed up for cuddles and Cleo pottered near my feet - investigating my smells (from all the dog walks and various little animal feeds stuck to my socks no doubt)!  I gave Genghy a bursh, however, there's a matted section towards his right back leg that I can't get out.  Cleo tolerated a little brush along her back.  I gave them a packet of wet food as a treat and topped up the water fountain and sorted out the litter tray.  The cats nose dived into their wet food and I left them munching away happily.

Wednesday 1st September AM; Genghy and Cleo were on the sofa and looked all snuggly.  I sat and gave Genghy lots of strokes and he purred away, while Cleo stared at me as if she'd forgotten who I was. I let her sniff my hand and then she pottered in with me as I swept around the litter tray and topped up their food.  I read your note so stayed for cuddles - although Cleo then hid behind the sofa.  I think she'll be used to be again after a few days!  Louise will be feeding the little ones this evening.

PM; I'm not sure if the cats had moved from this morning from Hanne's feed as they both were on the sofa when I arrived! Cleo did seem abit more shy than before so I sat on the floor and she had a sniff of me. Genghy was his usual regal self, and I gave him lots of cuddles on the sofa. Cleo suddenly had a burst of energy and started running around the lounge and kitchen and finally perched herself ontop of the windowsill! I made sure their food was topped up and cleaned the litter tray before I left.
