Tuesday 17th August; Phoebe and I had out morning strokes on the stairs and she weaved around me and pushed her head into my hand and arm. I told her mum and dad would be back soon and then I washed up her bowls as Phoebe watched from the kitchen floor, rubbing her cheek against the table leg. As soon as I popped her food down, Phoebe wasted no time in tucking in. I refreshed her water then popped out the rubbish bag and placed it into the silved bin outside and left the hall light on and the radio playing for Phoebe, as she happily munched down.
Monday 16th August; Phoebe and I had out morning love it on the steps and I gave her a brush which she enjoyed and she purred away lightly. This morning I washed up Phoebe's bowls and she tucked into some Senior beef Whiskas which she looked like she was enjoying hugely by the chomping sound! I gave Phoebe a top up of dried food and fresh water and left her to enjoy her food in peace.
Sunday 15th August; Phoebe enjoyed a doze on her bed at the top of the stairs, did a long stretch then popped her head through the bannister to meow 'good morning' to me. I gave her lots of strokes and a quick brush, then set about preparing her meal. She had whitefish for breakfast and wasted no time in munching down on her food while I changed her water and popped the post onto the side. As Phoebe ate I stroked her and she arched her back enjoying the fuss. I left Phoebe to enjoy the rest of her food in peace.
Saturday 14th August; Phoebe enjoyed her morning strokes and a brush as we sat on the stairs together. I washed up her bowls and chatted to Phoebe as she rubbed her head on the bannister then she got stuck straight into her lamb breakfast as I popped the post on the side. I stroked Phoebe as she ate and she enjoyed the company. Soon it was time to head off, so I said goodbye and told her I would see her again tomorrow for more strokes.
Friday 13th August; Phoebe had just come instead when I arrived and was heading to bed. She stopped and turned around to say hello and enjoyed a long head rub. This morning Phoebe enjoyed some rabbit for breakfast and fresh dried food. I changed her water and gave Phoebe strokes as she munched down, this sent her back arching and she purred as she ate.
Thursday 12th August; Phoebe was in bed and gently stepped down the stairs to say hello to me this morning. I gave Phoebe a long groom with her brush and she loved this. Phoebe weaved around and purred as I stroked her with the brush and she pushed her head into my hand as I groomed her. This morning Phoebe enjoyed some Whitefish with dried food and fresh water. I popped the post onto the side and as Phoebe munched, she enjoyed the sounds of the Radio 4 play in the background.
Wednesday 11th August; Phoebe and I had our helloings and there was lots of purring from Phoebe today. She enjoyed a long head rub then waited patiently, weaved around the stairs and rubbing her head on the table as I washed up her food bowls. I changed her water and Phoebe chomped down on her wet food, looking very happy with herself. The weather is a lot better today, so Phoebe may decide to have a gentle potter in the garden later. I gave Phoebe strokes as she ate, then said goodbye.
Tuesday 10th August; Phoebe weaved around my legs this morning as I chatted to her and bent down to tell her what a good girl she was. Phoebe purred away and then looked at me as if to say "hurry up, I'm hungry"! This morning Phoebe enjoyed some Lamb with fresh dried food and water. Phoeve tucked into her feast and I stroked her as she ate. The weather was horrendous, so I have a feeling Phoebe will be enjoying a long rest on her dry, cosy bed today - what a life.
Monday 9th August; Phoebe was on the stairs when I arrived and meowed hello. I gave Phoebe a lot of strokes then prepared her breakfast having washed up all her bowls. Phoebe wasted no time in munching down and purring in between mouthfuls and I refreshed her water and popped the post onto the worktop. I left Phoebe still munching down happily.
Sunday 8th August; Phoebe was snoozing in bed and she gently stepped down the stairs and purred away as I sat down with her and gave her a long brush. Pheobe had a lot of knots that I managed to get out and by the end of her grooming session she was purring loudly and looked like a beauty queen. I then washed up her bowls and changed her water and Phoebe tucked into rabbit today and purred in between mouthfuls.
Saturday 7th August; Phoebe met me in the utility area and purred as I gave her a long stroke and head rub. She weaved around my legs and as soon as I had washed up, Phoebe nose dived into her wet food, chomping down loudly. Phoebe didn't seem to come up for air as she tucked into her breakfast. So, I said goodbye as Phoebe continued munching.
Friday 6th August; Phoebe was in her bed when I arrived. She came down the stairs and weaved around me, giving a croaky meow. I gave her strokes and chatted to her as I washed up her bowls and refreshed her water. Today Phoebe tucked into poultry flavoured wet food and guzzled it down. I popped the post onto the side and left Phoebe to enjoy the sounds of radio 4.
Thursday 5th August; Phoebe enjoyed a groom today and I managed to get out some dead fur although some fur was clumping and that was more challenging. Phoebe enjoyed some Whitefish for her feast today and fresh water with a side order of dried food. Phoebe wasted no time in munching down and as she ate I made sure she received plently of strokes.
Wednesday 4th August; Phoebe was pottering in the utility area when I arrived. I saw her nip through the cat flap then sit on the stairs waiting to see who it was. Phoebe then enjoyed a long head rub and leaned into it to gain full impact of her massage! I washed up her bowls and changed her water, then prepared her food. Phoebe wasted no time in munching down on her seafood delight.
Tuesday 3rd August Midday; Phoebe meowed at me when I arrived today. I stroked her head and she enjoyed a long stroke, and she purred only very gently. The cleaners had been and I think Phoebe had been hiding from them as she was in the lounge near the sofa. I refreshed her water and refilled her dried food and washed up her bowl. Today Phoebe is having a feast of whitefish. The radio played the Archers and Phoebe tucked into her food listening to the latest storyline. I said goodbye until tomorrow.
Monday 2nd August AM; Phoebe heard me come in and she pottered down the stairs to say hello. I gave Phoebe a long head rub and she seemed to really enjoy this, twisting her body and head into my hand to maximise the effect. Phoebe had eaten all her wet food and some of her dried, so I refreshed her dried food and washed up her bowl. This morning Phoebe enjoyed a fish breakfast with fresh water. I left the radio on as the noise is comforting for her. Phoebe wasted no time in munching down on her food, looking very content.
Sunday 1st August PM; Phoebe was in the kitchen and meowed hello. She weaved around me and enjoyed long strokes and a head rub. I washed up her bowl and refreshed her wet food and added some dried to her bowl and changed her water. I popped on the radio as the house felt a little quiet and sat on the step of the stairs stroking Phoebe. She was then soon tucking into her wet food and I said goodbye.
