Monday 8th Oct PM; I had to pop around later than usual tonight and got spooked as the front porch door was unlocked and when I went into the kitchen there was freshly cut rocket in a bag on the side and post popped on top of the pile I had been making.  Charlie wasn't around either so I pulled the curtains too, topped up his food and refreshed his water and did a check on the fish before heading out, ensuring all doors were locked!

Monday 8th Oct AM; Charlie as usual wasn't around, so I went about washing up his bowls and preparing his breakfast.  I watered the plants by the sink and in the room off the kitchen and drew back the curtains.  Over the course of the last few days, leaves and various bits keep blowing into the kitchen.  So I swept up and this morning brought along my mop and bucket and gave the kitchen floor a mopping over.  I'm hoping to see Charlie later for our usual cuddle.

Sunday 7th Oct PM; Charlie ran down the stairs to meet me and we had a great cuddle.  I walked him into the lounge to pull too the curtains then went to see the fish.  Unfortunately one of the yellow and black fish had past away over the course of the day.  So I took him out of the tank and gave him a burial at sea while Charlie kept me company.  I am so sorry about the fish - I checked all the others but they seemed fine.

Sunday 7th Oct AM; Charlie wasn't in this morning, so I topped up his food as he hadn't eaten very much.  I changed his water, adjusted the curtains and gave the fish some flakes as a treat and then said goodbye.

Saturday 6th Oct PM; Charlie was having cat party tonight - as I arrived two of his friends were sat on the drive, white and ginger cats.  Charlie greeted me at the door, purring very loudly. After our cuddles and strokes we went into the kitchen and I prepared his dinner and refreshed his water.  I gave the floor a sweep over and pulled the curtains together.  He sat eating and purring away and I stayed with him stroking him as he ate.

Saturday 6th Oct AM; Charlie was on the stairs when I arrived and he was pleased to see me and purred straight away.  We had a cuddle and lots of strokes and he rolled around on his side wanting to be made a fuss of, and I was happy to help!  Afterwards, I pulled the curtains across and then washed up his bowls and prepared his breakfast and fresh water.  I stroked Charlie as he ate and stayed with him for awhile for company.  I said a quick hello to the fish before heading off.

Friday 5th Oct PM; Charlie was in the hallway and we had our longest cuddle to date.  He let me pick him up and walk him around, purring non stop.  I took him over to the fish and we perched ourselves on the arm of the car and he was intently looking at the fish and baby snails as I stroked him.  He helped me draw the curtains (one handed) and then we went to the kitchen to prepare his evening meal.  As soon as the bowl was down Charlie's nose was straight in so I let him have some dinner in peace (Charlie was still purring as I left).

Friday 5th Oct AM; Charlie wasn't around this morning so I drew back the curtains and then washed up his bowls and refreshed his water and food.

Thursday 4th Oct PM; Charlie was waiting for me in the hallway and we had our usual cuddle then lots of strokes and him weaving around my legs and rubbing his head against my hand.  Charlie hadn't eaten much of his breakfast so I just topped up his food this evening and refreshed his water.  As he purred and ate I adjusted the curtains and placed the post on the worktop and sat with him for a short while, before I had to dash off to see another cat.

Thursday 4th Oct AM; Charlie wasn't around this morning so I drew back the curtains, said hello to the fish and washed up his bowls and water and refreshed them all.  I am looking forward to seeing Charlie later.

Wednesday 3rd Oct PM; Charlie and I had a good play around tonight, he was rolling on his back and purring loudly.  I rubbed his head against me and weaved around me and my legs as I stroked him.  After lots of rolling around, he then went for a scratch on his post, before we headed into the kitchen for me to prepare his evening meal for him.  As I popped this bowls down he dived head first into them munching away.  Before I headed out I drew the curtains together and said my goodbyes to Charlie and the fishes.

Wednesday 3rd Oct AM; Charlie wasn't around this morning, although I still gave out a call for him.  I cleaned out his bowls and washed them up and then refreshed his food and water.  While I was doing this I noticed a squirrel dashing around the back garden gathering for then having a good munch on top of the compost heap!  I drew back the curtains and said hello to the fish before heading off.

Tuesday 2nd Oct PM; Charlie ran into the hallway and we had loads of strokes and purring!  Charlie rolled around the floor and played with my arm, hugging it and thumping my arm with his legs as he played.  After a lots of play and me chatting to him I prepared his dinner and he munched away still purring and every so often running over to me as I sat near him for me fussing and love.  I drew the curtains and checked on the fish, leaving Charlie still merrily eating away.

Tuesday 2nd Oct AM; Charlie wasn't around this morning as I arrived, so I pulled back the curtains and went about preparing his breakfast and fresh water.  As I did this I noticed a long haired ginger and white cat pottering in the garden enjoying himself and having a sniff!  I checked on the plants in the room off the kitchen and gave them a drink of water using the water filter jug on the side and gave the plants on the kitchen worktop a drink too.  Hopefully I'll see Charlie later.

Monday 1st Oct PM; Charlie greeted me in the hallway with a yawn and a stretch then as I stroked him he turn onto his back and enjoyed a lengthy tummy rub and stretched his legs out in both directions to maximise the effect!  Tonight Charlie hadn't eaten much of his dinner, so I topped up his food and refreshed his water.  I popped the post onto the side and went about adjusting the curtains and gave the fish a quick check and hello.  I stayed with Charlie a little while as he ate, stroking him and he purred away.

Monday 1st Oct AM; Charlie ran through the cat flap and into the hall to say hello this morning.  He seemed pleased to see me and I sat on the little sofa in the hallway and played with him.  Charlie tapped at my fingers and rolled around on his back then turned quickly around and over - he mouthed my fingers, but not to hurt just playing and he really seemed to be having a great time!  After lots of strokes and play I prepared his bowls, washing them and filling them with his food which he tucked into straight away, I refreshed his water and drew back the curtains while Charlie still ate.  After staying with him for awhile, I left Charlie washing himself and looking like he was going to settle down for a well earned nap.

Sunday 30th Sept PM; Charlie was a hungry boy as he had eaten all his food and was very pleased to see me.  I refreshed his food and water and swept the kitchen where some leaves had come in and Charlie had scattered some of his food around.  I checked the fish were all happy then gave Charlie for strokes before saying goodbye.

Sunday 30th Sept AM; Charlie greeted me in the hallway this morning and purred loudly as I stroked him.  As I did this he gave out a big stretch and a yawn.  After a lot of fuss and making Charlie feel loved he accompanied me into the kitchen and I prepared his breakfast and he weaved around my legs as I did this.  I stayed with Charlie as he ate some breakfast and he showed his appreciation by rubbing and arching his back as I stroked him.

Saturday 29th Sept PM; Charlie had eaten all his food when I had arrived but he still wasn't around and so I washed his bowls again and topped up his food and pulled together the curtains and popped the post onto the kitchen worktop.

Saturday 29th Sept AM; I couldn't see Charlie when I arrived so I called for him but he wasn't around, so after adjusting the curtains, I washe dup his bowls and refreshed his water and food and had a check on the fish tank, hoping I might catch up with him later.

Friday 28th Sept PM; Charlie was waiting for me in the hallway and we had a lovely cuddle and lots of strokes.  He did his usual stretching and yawning then padded into the kitchen to have a nosh on his food.  He hadn't eaten any of it from this morning, so instead of topping it up any more, I just refreshed his water and sat with him as he ate and stroked Charlie.  He loved this and kept in between mouthfuls rubbing his head against the central part of his cat bowl!  I pulled all the curtains together, said hello to the fish and left Charlie still eating.

Friday 28th Sept AM; Charlie was awol this morning as usual, so I drew back the curtains, checked the fish, and washed up his food bowls and refreshed his dried food and water.  I gave the plants in the study off the kitchen a quick check but they still seemed moist and no need of a drink.  I am hoping see catch up with Charlie later.

Thursday 27th Sept PM; I got to Charlie earlier than normal and he was in the house, heard me and pottered down the stairs.  I had Rachel and Leigh (our new team members with me) to meet Charlie and we topped up his food and gave him lots of strokes and some cuddles, but he preferred to be stroked today.  I pulled the curtains together and after more strokes and loudl purring from Charlie we headed out leaving him having a good wash in the lounge.

Thursday 27th Sept AM; Charlie was out and about this morning so with no Charlie to stroke I washed up his bowl, swept around it and then refreshed his water and food.  I checked on the plants and drew open the curtains before heading off after a quick check on the fish.

Wednesday 26th Sept PM; Charlie met me at the front door with a meow and he dashed in with me to the warmth of the hallway, where I picked him up and we had a good cuddle and he purred even loudly than usual.  I went about topping up his food as he still had some left and refreshed his water.  While he ate I sorted out the curtains, checked the fish were ok and then re-joined Charlie.  I sat with him for a little while stroking him which he loved, but he was still very much interested in dinner - so in the end I left him to enjoy his meal in peace.

Wednesday 26th Sept AM; As usual there was no sign of Charlie so I washed up his bowls and refreshed his food and water.  I drew the curtains back and then headed off hoping to catch up with him later for a cuddle.

Tueday 25th Sept PM; I picked up the post and noticed that the postman had tried to deliver a parcel, so I called the number to no avail, so left a note with instructions to either leave in the porch or with a neighbour - otherwise the item would be returned to sender.  Meanwhile, Charlie popped in for his evening cuddles and he purred very loudly as I stroked him and he let me pick him up.  He ran into kitchen and watched as I prepared his dinner.  Charlie then stopped any interest in me as the bowl hit the floor and he purred away.  I checked on the plants, the fish and drew the curtains while he ate then said my goodbyes until the morning.

Tuesday 25th Sept AM; Charlie wasn't in this morning, so I cleaned out his bowls and refreshed his water and food, and then nipped upstairs to turn the wak up alarm off as it was buzzing away.  I gave the kitchen floor another sweep around as Charlie had bought in some leaves with him and then I headed off, hoping to catch up with Charlie later.

Monday 24th Sept PM; Charlie was no where to be seen tonight, I presumed as the weather had dried up he was on the hunt. So after preparing his dinner and fresh water I checked on the fish and as usual drew the curtains in the lounge and hallway, hoping to see Charlie tomorrow for cuddles.

Monday 24th Sept AM; Charlie heard me arrive this morning and bounced through the cat flap, he was a little wet so I dried him off with the cloth and then he twirled around my legs purring away as I stroked him.  I washe dup his bowls and made his breakfast and refreshed his water and he purred as he eat - an impressive feat.  I stayed with him as he ate until it was time to head off.

Sunday 23rd Sept PM; I called out for Charlie as I arrived and he came dashing down the stairs.  He let me pick him up and we had a quick cuddle and he broke into a purr before wanting to get down.  I then stayed with him in the hallway as had a 'stroke-a-thon' which Charlie loved and he was still very sleepy having just woken up no doubt as he yawned and stretched.  He walked me into the kitchen and then watched as I prepared his evening meal and refreshed his water.  I watched him dive into his food and he seemed very happy so I left him in peace.

Sunday 23rd Sept AM; Charlie was awol again this morning and having checked the house I carried on preparing his breakfast, washing up the bowls and refilling his food and refreshing his water.  I gave the fish tank a quick check too to see if all the fish were happy and they seemed fine.

Saturday 22nd Sept PM; Charlie was in the hall waiting for me when I arrived at teatime and I gave him lots of strokes which got him purring away.  He had a good stretch then a quick wash before he headed into the kitchen to have a munch on his food.  I topped up his food bowls and refreshed his water then stayed with Charlie as he ate.  We had lots more strokes in the kitchen before it was time to head off, I said goodbye and hoped to see him in the morning.

Saturday 22nd Sept AM; Charlie wasn't around this morning, I called for him and checked around the house but no doubt he was out on the town enjoying himself somewhere.  So, I washed up his bowls and refreshed his food and water and look forward to catching up with him later today.

Friday 21st Sept PM; Charlie was in the hallway when I arrived and we had lots of strokes which he enjoyed and he purred away.  He then accompanied me to the kitchen where he watched me potter around preparing his dinner.  As soon as the bowls hit the floor Charlie dived straight in and was munching away.  I left Charlie still eating his dinner and bid him goodnight until the morning.

Friday 21st Sept AM; Charlie was no where to be seen this morning when I arrived.  I called out to him and checked his usual spots but assumed he was out on the hunt.  So, I popped the reminder of his food into his cup while I washed up his two bowls and water bowl then refreshed the water and measured out his food.  Charlie had split some of his food around his food bowl, so I swept up the kitchen floor.  I am hoping to see Charlie tonight so I can give him lots of strokes and cuddles.
