Thursday 15th Nov; Evie was in the lounge when I arrived, she trotted out of bed to check whether it was mummy, but she had to settle for me instead. I let her have a good sniff of me before I took her outself. I struggled to find Evie's lead, so I used one of my spare ones instead. We padded out across the road and I racked my brains to remember your instructions of how to get to the park (I have no sense of direction)! As we past One Stop Shop, Evie decided she needed a 'one stop' and promptly did a poo by the entrance - poor Evie was struggling a bit (she had a runny tummy) and I don't think having a bunch of shoppers waiting to enter and leave helped her concerntration levels!! Anyway, once she was done we continued on and I thought we had found the park, but it was a large grassy area with big trees and I was fooled. Then I remembered I had to cross the road and go down an alleyway - this I spotted (or so I thought) and we ended up in a cul-de-sac with a pretty grass area and bridge. I had no idea where we were, but Evie didn't seem to mind. By this stage Evie was stopping a couple of times and looking at me, so after 20 mins of walking we headed home as I was worried about over stretching the mum to be. I refreshed her two bowls of water and then popped Neevie's food back in her bowl which she had spread across her hanging bed. I sat with Evie as she then ate her dinner and Neevie benefitted by getting lots of strokes. I popped some treats into Evie's bed and she hopped in, then I stroked her to get her settled before it was time to head off. I left a light on in the lounge so the pets wouldn't be in darkness when daddy comes home.
